Mapermonster Project, Polaroids

Papermonster is a fancy platform for art lovers. Exclusive artpints, a well selected blog and Monsters projects. The projects section is an open venue to share what you've made or seen with your fellow readers, share inspirations or be inspired.

I would like to introduce the latest Paper Monster Project. Polaroids.
This one is pretty straight forward with one rule, you must submit an image shot on instant film (any format will do). With the re-release of Polaroid film Impossible and it's increasing availability, now is a great time to go shoot a pack and enjoy this classic format. So show us what you've got.

Polaroid SX 70 Alpha

TicKL Magazine

Pure. Sensual. Intimate. TicKL is the independent and kinky magazine of Carmen De Vos. A naughty bookazine: plain sensual, frankly arty, the result of a lusty liaison between Polaroid and sex. Horny but heartwarming. Young and playful, literate and witty and so very ready to TicKL your fancy.

TicKL is the fruit of intense collaboration between the online Polaroid community Polanoid.net, its Belgian editor-in-chief Carmen De Vos and her British right hand, editor-in-mischief Miss Zora Strangefields.

Oz exhibition in Berlin

Neil Krug, a Fistful of Polaroids

Neil Krug's stylized photos of his girlfriend, the model Joni Harbeck, were taken with Polaroid film years past its sell-by date. They have the kind of grainy, sun-scorched feel of a Sergio Leone spaghetti western. And ever since the couple began posting the photos on Flickr early this year, they’ve drawn a blaze of attention. “I really never received this much feedback on my work before,” said Neil, who has also directed music videos for Ladytron and Ratatat.

Neil Krug became interested in shooting Polaroid last year when it was announced that the instant film would be discontinued; and its eventual demise adds a certain poignancy. “It resonates with people,” Neil said. “I know I’ve fallen in love with it.”

100 Girls on Polaroid Ausstellung in Hamburg
